We are pleased to inform you that the 15th EFLM Continuing Postgraduate Course in Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, known as the "Dubrovnik Course", will be held for the first time in Zagreb, Croatia on October 24-25, 2015. This advanced course, entitled "How to assess the quality of your method", is organised by EFLM in cooperation with Croatian Society of Medical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine (CSMBLM) and Slovenian Association of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (SACCLM).
The Course participants will have an opportunity to hear about very important issues, such as Who, what and when to do in validation/verification of methods; How to assess the measurement uncertainty; Verification of precision and bias; Limit of detection, limit of quantification and limit of blank; Verification of blood collection systems; Verification of reference intervals and so on, presented by renowned experts in the field of Laboratory Medicine.
The bursaries of EFLM, CSMBLM and SACCLM are available to participants presenting poster. Deadline for poster acceptance is July 15, 2015, and deadline for early registration is September 15. Take advantage of early registration. At the Course only 150 participants will be accepted. The confirmation will be based upon first come first served rule.
